Cannabis detected

Two persons involved in large scale cannabis trade were arrested by the Mahiyanganaya police yesterday (27). The suspects had three kilograms of cannabis in their possession, police said.

Police further said that the arrests were made at the time when the two persons were getting ready to distribute the consignment of cannabis. They were due to be produced before the Magistrate today.
