IMF commends Lanka

Sri Lanka successfully managed its economy during the global financial crisis, stated International Monetary Fund (IMF) Deputy Managing Director Naoyuki Shinohara during a meeting with President Mahinda Rajapaksa at Temple Trees last week.

The President briefed him on the massive development projects taking place under Sri Lanka’s post-conflict rebuilding process.
