Sinhala, Tamil websites launched

The Sinhala and Tamil language versions of the British High Commission's official websites were launched by British Foreign and Commonwealth Office Minister for South Asia, Alistair Burt MP, on February 21.

The launch of the websites took place in the presence of the British High Commission staff.

The vernacular websites will carry information in the local languages about the United Kingdom and its work in Sri Lanka.

The Sinhala site can be accessed at www.ukinsrilanka.fco.gov.uk/si http://www.ukinsrilanka.fco.gov.uk/si and the Tamil site can be accessed at www.ukinsrilanka.fco.gov.uk/ta http://www.ukinsrilanka.fco.gov.uk/ta, according to a release from the British High Commission.
