Shock treatment for media

Media personnel covering the ICC Cricket World Cup opening ceremony came in for a nasty shock when they were refused entry into the main terminal of the Bangabandu National Stadium in Dhaka yesterday.

Over five hundred local and international journalists were stranded as they were kept outside the stadium for nearly one hour before they eventually made it to the venue in sheer disappointment.
