Actress found dead

Film actress and a film producer Vinu Wettamuni was found murdered last evening at her home in Ratmalana. According to Police, two persons were seen talking with her earlier. Mount Lavinia Police is conducting investigations to identify the persons who were with her at that time.

Vinu Wettamuni who entered the small screen and the silver screen as a promising actress came up with her debut film Sihina Dev Duwa directed by herself where she played the main role.

She acted in teledramas like Sobana Sevaya, Suwanda Para Nove, Ikbithii, Ahasin Vetunu Minissu, Weeduru Bitti, Sula Mula Mola, Sanda biligath Rathriyak, Kathuru Yaka and Udam Reli.
