Forty persons injured in collision

Sajith Kumara Premadasa Galigamuwa Group Subhashini Senanayake Prarthana Weerasinghe Mavanella Group Forty persons had been injured when a CTB bus and a private bus collided head on yesterday (16) morning at Ganetenne in Mawanella.

Two persons who were seriously injured were admitted to the Kegalle General Hospital. The private bus had been travelling towards Colombo from Kandy while the CTB bus had been travelling to Colombo from Kandy, said the Police.

Mawanella Police were conducting further investigations on the instructions of Kegalle Asst. Superintendent of Police Shirantha Peiris.
