Oshada Fernando hammered an unbeaten 235 runs including twenty fours
and four sixes and occupying the crease for 252 minutes and involving a
fifth wicket partnership of 160 runs with Sanitha de Mel who scored an
elegant 101 runs in their inter-school under 19 cricket match against
Holy Cross College, Kalutara. The match was worked off at Moratuwa.
Oshada Fernando erased the previous ground record of 215 runs held by
former Sri Lanka Cap Susil Fernando who scored 215 runs against Thurstan
College. At the end of day one in reply to Sebs’ mammoth total of 466
for 8 declared. Visitors were struggling at 47 for 6 with Amila Aponso
claiming 4 for 23 and bringing his tally to 50 wickets for the season.

among the schools in the island claimed 9 for 93 to make his scalps to
84 in their inter-school under 19 cricket match played against Royal
College, Panadura and played at Moratuwa.
Batting first Panadura Royalists made 243 with Asanga Alwis top
scoring with 60 runs and Ruchira Tharinda contributing 43 runs.
