Carlton cager team for Maldives

Carlton Sports Club has been in the forefront of developing sports in the country.

The Carlton Basketball team was formed in order to develop Basketball in the country.

This was formed 03 years ago and as evidence of development the performance by the Carlton Basketball team was excellent as they emerged champions in the "A" division competition therefore the team has been honoured with an invitation from the Maldivian Basketball Association to participate in the annual Maldivian Basketball Association Invitational Basketball championship which will be held in Male.

The Maldivian Basketball Association Invitational Championship will be held from February 14 to 22, 2011.

Carlton Basketball team will be the only international team at the tournament.
