Condolence Vote on P Chandrasekaran:

Highly respected by Indian political leaders

UPFA MP Praba Ganeshan speaking at the occasion of the vote of condolence on Minister P Chandrasekaran in Parliament, Thursday said Chandrasekaran who identified the talents and feelings of the youth and the workers of the plantation took the leadership to change this great force into a political power so as to find a permanent solution and a great hope for the plantation workers of the country.

“He followed in the path of R R Sivalingam who contributed much for the cause of the plantation community. In the latter part of the 1980s he created a revolution by forming the Up Country Workers Front and the Up Country People’s Front,” Ganehsan said.

He had a rapport with other countries. Particularly, he was highly respected by the Indian political leaders, Ganeshan said.
