The Chairman said the aim of organizing this event is to provide incentives for the public towards environmental friendly approaches.

Those who are engaged in industries such as rubber and rubber related products, hotels, apparels, minerals, medical services, chemical and pharmaceutical products and transport services with a valid environment protection licence are invited to apply for the awards. In addition local government authorities, Government institutions and schools which conduct environmental guides associations can also apply for it.
