Seetha Devi hockey tourney

The 18th Annual All Island Schools (boys and girls) and inter club (men and women) Seetha Devi Hockey Championship organized by Seetha Devi Balika Vidyalaya will be worked off at the Asgiriya Stadium, Kandy on January 28 and 29.

A total of 46 schools and 35 clubs are expected to compete in this mega event which had grown in stature over the years and is one of the most looked forward event in national hockey calendar. This also the biggest hockey carnival to be staged in the Central Province.

This year an added feature will be the participation of two clubs from India. Entries will close with the Principal, Seetha Devi Balika Vidyalaya, Peradeniya Road, Mulgampola, Kandy on January 16.
