Police search for missing fisherman

A fisherman went missing five miles off Kalmunai, when the fishing boat capsized Sunday.

Police said three fishermen went fishing from Kalmunai around 3.30 pm.

The boat capsized and two were rescued. A search is on for the missing fisherman.

The victim is identified as Murugapulle Nadarajah (56) of Kalmunai. He is five feet and six inches and was dressed in a blue short and a black jacket.

Kalmunai Police are investigating.
