SSC and Colts joint champions

SSC and Colts CC were declared joint champions when the SLC Premier limited overs Tier 'A' day/night cricket tournament final was washed out due to bad weather at the R Premadasa International Stadium yesterday.

The two umpires Asoka de Silva and Kumar Dharmasena decided to call off the game at 5pm after consultation with the two captains Malinda Warnapura (Colts CC) and Kaushal Silva (SSC).

Tier 'B' tournament final

Meanwhile, the SLC Premier limited overs Tier 'B' tournament final was also abandoned without a ball been bowled at the De Soysa Stadium in Moratuwa yesterday. As a result BRC and Moors SC were declared joint champions of the SLC Premier limited overs Tier 'B' tournament for the 2010/11 season.
