Mother of two arrested with narcotics

Two suspects including a mother of two who were allegedly involved in narcotic business with a jailed prisoner’s assistance were remanded till January 14 on the orders of Matara Chief Magistrate, Udesh Ranatunga.

The Matara police anti-vice squad produced the suspects before the Courts who were taken into custody with four grams and 440 miligrams in their possession.

The trial will be held on January 14.
