Sabaragamuwa University reopens today

The Sabaragamuwa University temporarily closed on January 1 will re-open today for first year students. Faculties of Social Sciences and Languages, Agricultural Sciences, Geomatics and Management Studies will be open for freshers.

The Applied Sciences Faculty and classes of the other batches will begin on a later date. Students will be informed of the date soon. The University was closed by officials on January 1 following ragging complaints. Sabaragamuwa University Students Union has rejected the ragging incidents and urged the University officials to re-open it soon.
