SSC - NCC clash today

The traditional rivals SSC and NCC will clash in the SLC Premier limited overs Tier 'A' cricket tournament first semifinal match at the R. Premadasa International Stadium under lights today.

NCC finished on top of group 'A' following a successful preliminary round where they notched up five impressive victories against Lankan CC, CCC, Baduraliya CC, Tamil Union and Chilaw Marians CC.

In contrast SSC experienced mixed fortunes during the preliminary round while recoding three good victories and suffered one defeat at the hands of Colts CC to finish as the runners up from group 'B'.

Meanwhile Sri Lanka Police Sports Club will take on BRC in the SLC Premier limited overs tournament Tier 'B' first semifinal match at the FTZ ground in Katunayake.

Police SC were the only unbeaten side in the tournament and they finished on top of group 'A' with a maximum of 18 points from their four outings.

BRC of course lost one game and won three matches to finish as the runners up from group 'B'. C.D
