Applications for scholarships

The Parent Memorial Scholarship Foundation calls applications from the students who are economically disadvantaged but currently succeeded in entering to the Universities with the results of 2010 A-L Examination. Students who are qualified to enter the faculties of Medicine, Engineering, Management and Law can apply for these Sholarships. Selected applicants will be awarded Rs. 1,500 per month during the first year of the University Studies.

Self-prepared applications with bio-data should be sent on or before January 31 together with GCE A-L 2010 Examination results certified by the Principal. A letter from Grama Sevaka certifying the situation of the family, including the number of family members, monthly income of them and the source of income, a testimonial from the chief of the religious institute of the Village and a letter written by applicant's own handwriting including the genuine economical hardships should be submitted.
