Apt Art Academy’s diploma is the first training program for budding artistes who wish to pursue a career in art and sculpture. It brushes up the student’s inborn talent, provides then with the experience they need to make a career out of their skills, gives them update knowledge in the field and provides them with the opportunity to interact with experts. They also hold workshops for the youngsters and discussion under experienced lecturers on subjects like painting composition, colour study, drawing, sculpture, designing and graphic art. The one year course runs on Sundays from 9 am to 3 pm at Sudharshi Hall in front of BMICH.

Students at work

“We get minimal opportunities to gain knowledge and understand art at school. There is a great demand for the subject in social and economic terms. There are only a few avenues open for those who possess the skills to excel in this field.

Therefore many talented and creative individuals go unnoticed. I decided to take this matter into my own hands and provide them with a path to attain systematic education in art and its related fields.

The diploma will give them a chance to test their wings and make it big in the arts scene,” Apt Art Academy Director Lalith Kalubowila said.
