To meet 2011 targets:
We should raise standard of our services - ANCL Chairman
Addressing a ceremony to mark New Year at Lake House held yesterday,
ANCL Chairman Bandula Padmakumara said that we should raise the standard
of our service to meet 2011 targets.

The Chairman also said that the ANCL achieved significant progress
during the last couple of years and it has become one of the top
institutions in Sri Lanka.
He said that the commitment of the ANCL employees was a major reason
for its growth and success.
He also said that he hoped to maintain ANCL as number one in the
print media industry.
The ANCL is a Government print media institution which has played a
major role during the war and now its duty is to take part in
development work which commenced after clearing the LTTE.
The Government is now working towards a target to meet the economic
growth and has successfully commenced the construction of a harbour and
an airport.
The country is on the road to development after war and the
President's vision for the second term is development.
He began his second term as the country needs development.
The Chairman also said that he has confidence in the ANCL staff and
he would make necessary arrangements to develop the ANCL. He also
requested the Editorial staff to give top priority to 2600 Sri Sambuddha
Jayanthi. |
