Media Ministry to continue schol scheme

The Mass Media and Information Ministry has decided to continue the scholarship scheme for journalists without interruption on the initiative of Minister Keheliya Rambukwella to enable them develop their professional skills.

A Ministry release said a batch of 75 journalists have availed themselves of this facility which is available to all journalists including provincial correspondents and freelance journalists.

All journalists who have not availed themselves of the facility wishing to receive scholarships are requested to send in their applications to the Ministry without delay.
