Arrested for loitering

Ten persons loitering in Parangiyawadiya, Horowpothana forest reserve were arrested by Horowpothana police.

Kebithigollewa Acting Magistrate Ajith Dissanayake remanded the suspects until January 5.

The police said the suspects had failed to give a valid reason to be in the forest.

Horowpothana police are investigating.
