Red Lantern Vigil

Galle Face Hotel:

Group Chairman of the Galle Face Hotel Sanjeev Gardiner invited top clients, embassies, travel agents, corporate clients, regular guests and media to the Red Lantern Vigil on December 3 – Galle Face Hotel’s traditional way of welcoming Christmas to the city of Colombo. The Red Lantern Vigil is an annual celebration by the Galle Face Hotel, to welcome Christmas to the city.

A procession of invitees and hotel guests carrying Red Lantern culminating in the lighting up of the hotel with its Christmas decorations has been a tradition of the Galle Face Hotel. The proceeds of the Red Lantern Vigil was donated to the Deaf & Blind School in Ratmalana.
