Gold Star Sports Club, Kalmunai to clinched the 'Family Choice Cup
2010 in their 30 over cricket tournament defeating Top Eleven Sports
Club, Mavadippali. In the final played recently at the Ashroff United
Ground Sainthamarathu.
Six invited teams participated at tis tournament organised by
Sainthamaruthu Cricket Association.
Gold Star SC qualified for the final defeating My Way Sports Club
while Top Eleven Sports Club entered the final beating the formidable
Himalaya Sports Club, Samanthurai.
In the final Gold Star batted first and scored a mammoth 212 runs in
30 overs. In reply Top Eleven were shot out for 126 runs. |
