IDB to hold workshop, awareness program

Investment in food and beverage:

The Industrial Development Board in line with its focus on developing the food and beverage sector will hold a technology transfer workshop on herbal tea and flavoured tea and an awareness program on food quality management and marketing.

The objectives of the workshop are to promote high quality herbal tea and flavoured tea for local and export market and the objectives of the awareness program are to educate industrialists about food laws and regulations, marketing strategies and establish GMP in food industry.

Those who are willing to participate in the program and workshop should register themselves on or before December 30 at the IDB Technical Services Division.
