Driver behind bars for drunken stupor

A bus driver attached to the Hatton Depot was arrested by Hatton Police Monday for allegedly assaulting two Police Constables on traffic duty in Hatton town in his drunken stupor.

The driver is alleged to have assaulted this two constables in front of a large crowd when they advised him to behave well in a public place.

The suspect was produced before the Hatton Magistrate and remanded till December 28.
