Hettiarachchi launches second novel

Renowned astrologer and artist Chandrakantha Hettiarachchi launched
his second novel Iki Binda Hiru Sanduta Muwa Vee recently. His first
novel Samananiyak Sina Sala contains some important aspects in life.
Hailing
from Darungala, Hettiarachchi was an old boy of Morawaka Keerthi
Abeywickrama Central College. He obtained a degree in the arts stream
and had ventured towards producing stage dramas. He enthralled masses
through his ability to sketch. He had composed several picture stories.
He had also revealed many aspects in astrology through popular Sinhala
tabloids.
Agriculture Minister Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena, Parliamentarian
Buddika Pathirana, South District Opposition Leader Siri Wijewickrama
and Provincial Councilor Veerasumana Veerasinghe graced the book launch.
Fire Range musical troupe of Polhena provided music while many
popular vocialist including Kumarasiri Pathirana snag. Ranjith Kumara
took art in a special performance. Iki Binda Hiru Sanduta Muwa Vee is
available in leading bookstores island wide. |
