West must change stance - Iran

Iran: Iran underlined on Tuesday its will to continue holding talks with six Western powers on nuclear issues but using a comprehensive approach in which the participants change their previous stances to create a more constructive atmosphere. Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast stated that the Persian nation began holding talks with the so-called Group 5+1 with a “very positive and constructive vision”.

The meetings between the head of the Supreme Council of National Security Saeed Jalili and representatives of the permanent members of the UN Council of Security and Germany (G5+1) began on Monday in Geneva and continue on Tuesday. The actions that the United States, China, Russia France, Great Britain and Germany carry out from now on, can determine the outcome of the current multifaceted talks, according to the spokesman. The Islamic Republic, accused by the West of using its peaceful nuclear program to build atomic weapons, proposed to deal with some issues of the international arena instead of just talking about its atomic plans.
