Sakvithi further remanded

Nugegoda Magistrate and Additional District Judge Rohana Anura Kumara Herath ordered to further remand Abaya Ranasinghe Mmudiyanselage Chandana Weerakumara alias Sakvithi Ranasinghe and JP Kumari Anuradhini when the case was taken for trial.

The Additional District Judge also ordered to auction all properties including the printing machines lying in the Anuradhini printers maintained on Ambuldeniya, Madiwela road by Sakvithi finance institute and credit the proceeds to the Sakvithi case account.

The judge ordered the CID to store the properties of Sakvithi lying in the building at No 8 on Nawala Nugegoda road in the upper floor of the building and release the first floor to the respective building owner.

At the trial it was reported that of the 21 suspects released on bail Taranga Rukshan, R Suresh Kumar, Upexa Sanketha had not reported to the CID on December 04 violating the Court order.

Attorneys-at-Law Luxman Galhena appeared for the complainant party while senior Attorney-at-Law Vidura P Manchanayake, Suneetha Nanayakkara, Janaka Waliwatta, Wasantha Ranasinghe and Shayama Chandrasena appeared for the accused party.
