Ajith Chandrasoma won the men's singles title while Inoka Atapattu
won a double by taking in the women's singles and doubles in 2010 Open
nationalised services Carrom Tournament.
The competition was held at Sri Lanka Carrom Association at Reid
Avenue, Colombo recently. Over 200 carrom players competed from 22
nationalised services institutes.
Men's singles: Champion - Ajith Chandrasoma (Lanka Petroleum
Corporation)25/7, 25/6. Runner-up - J N Abeywardena (Central Transport
Board).
Women's singles: Champion - Inoka Atapattu (State Engineering
Corporation) 25/6, 25/18. Runner-up - Kalyani Amarasena (State
Engineering Corporation).
Men's doubles: Champions - W K Lalith Hewage / R A S H Ranasinghe,
20/16, 24/25, 25/24 (Central Advisory Office, Engineering Services).
Runners-up - Ajith Chandrasoma / AD. Wijitha (Lanka Petroleum
Corporation).
Women's doubles: Champions - Inoka Atapattu / Kalyani Amarasinghe,
25/2, 9/25, 25/16 (State Engineering Corporation). Runners-up - Pushpa
