Second fire at bank within month

A sudden fire erupted at a private bank in Kiribathgoda for the second time, within a month. Colombo Fire Brigade, Control Unit told the Daily News that the fire broke out yesterday at about 5 am and the situation was brought under control within an hour.

No casualties were reported and Kiribathgoda police are conducting investigations. The estimated damage to property has not been revealed.

A fire was reported because of an electrical leakage on October 18 at the same bank.
