Sangamitta and President’s College joint champions

Sangamitta Balika Vidyalaya, Matale and President’s College, Nawala emerged Joint Champions among Girls Schools while Zahira College, Matale and D S Senanayake Vidyalaya, Colombo won the Boys Championship at the All Ialand Under 13 Schools Hockey Championship concluded on November 14, 2010 at the Asgiriya International Cricket Stadium, Kandy.

Fifty four teams participated in this All Island Competition which was organized by the Sri Lanka Schools Hockey Federation which was held for three days. Third place among the Boys tournament was won by St Benedict’s College, Colombo beating Ananda College, Colombo. To select the third place among girls schools, a match was played between St Anthony’s College, Katugastota and Musaeus College, Colombo and the third place winners were not announced immediately.
