LLRC hearings in Trinco

The Lessons Learnt and Reconciliation Commission (LLRC) will commence open public hearings in Trincomalee in December 2010. The Commission expects to obtain views and accounts of the people in Trincomalee affected by the conflict.

The Commission conducts its regular hearings at the Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute, Colombo 7.

The LLRC previously has held public sittings in Colombo, Jaffna, Kilinochchi, Vavuniya, Mullaitivu and Batticaloa.

The itinerary of the Commission's visit to Trincomalee is as follows: December 3 - Trincomalee Kachcheri from 9.30am, December 4 - Muttur Divisional Secretary's Office from 9.30am, December 5 - Kuchchiveli Divisional Secretary's Office from 9am.
