Bolivia, Paraguay fight crime

BOLIVIA: The Bolivian and Paraguayan governments Thursday agreed to coordinate civic actions along their border to fight crime and natural disasters. The agreement was reached at a bilateral meeting between foreign ministers and defense ministers of the two countries in the city of San Cruz in eastern Bolivia on Thursday.

Both countries ratified their commitment to keep peace and strengthen the integration, mutual trust and cooperation between their armed forces, according to a joint statement issued after the meeting.

The two countries agreed to keep exchanging information to combat illegal activities along their common border.
