Bolivia, Paraguay fight crime
BOLIVIA: The Bolivian and Paraguayan governments Thursday agreed to
coordinate civic actions along their border to fight crime and natural
disasters. The agreement was reached at a bilateral meeting between
foreign ministers and defense ministers of the two countries in the city
of San Cruz in eastern Bolivia on Thursday.
Both countries ratified their commitment to keep peace and strengthen
the integration, mutual trust and cooperation between their armed
forces, according to a joint statement issued after the meeting.
The two countries agreed to keep exchanging information to combat
illegal activities along their common border.
