Korean language results outa

About 5,302 people have passed the Korean Language Proficiency Examination and the results were released last Thursday, Foreign Employment Bureau Recruitment Deputy General Manager W M V Wansekara told the Daily News.

He said those who have passed the test would be called for interviews during next few days. After obtaining documents such as medical reports and police clearance reports from those who succeeded in the test, they will be registered in the official web site. They will be offered suitable job opportunities available once this procedure is completed, he said.

He said that 29,583 people applied for the examination, and 24,273 people sat for it last October. About 21.84 percent has passed the examination this time.

This examination is a primary criterion to get employment in South Korea. The results are available on websites www.slbfe.lk and www.eps.go.kr.
