Kotmale Tunnel open till Nov 21

The Kotmale Tunnel will be open to the public till November 21.

A special permit will be issued for visitors to view the tunnel on November 20 and 21, a communique issued by the Power and Energy Ministry said. This decision has been taken to let a limited number of persons view the tunnel at a time.

The Ministry requested visitors to reserve permits by calling 077-2492854, 077-3179630 and collect the permits from the office at the Talawakele new Housing complex on 'A' Access Road.

Transport facilities will be provided for the visitors from there, the communique said.
