Best wishes from Shippers' Council

The Sri Lanka Shippers' Council Chairman on behalf of the committee and members of the council congratulated the Government, Sri Lanka Ports Authority Chairman and all the officials and his team on the commissioning and berthing of the first vessel at the Magampura Sea Port in Hambantota yesterday.

"This is a historical and landmark event that will change the Sri Lankan port history.

The service it will do to shipping industry and the contribution to the development of the country's economy will be of great magnitude, along with the concept of the five fold Centres of progress envisioned by the President of Sri Lanka," Shippers' Council said.
