Prince of Wales College put up a fine all round performance to beat Lumbini MV outright by four wickets in their inter school under 19 cricket tournament match which concluded at the BRC ground in Havelock Park yesterday.

Lumbini: 139 and 130 (M. Madushanka 40, H. Fernando 2 for 35, S. Jayasuriya 3 for 60, T. Dilshan 2 for 16).

Prince of Wales: 141 and 131 for 6 (S. Jayasuriya 36, I. Thilina 31 n.o, T. Dilshan 30 n.o, M. Liyanapathirana 2 for 46, P. Jayasuriya 2 for 25).

Dananjaya excels

Skipper Dananjaya Silva hit an unbeaten century as Richmond College Galle fought back well to force a draw to their inter school under 19 cricket tournament match against Mahanama which concluded at Katunayake yesterday.

Thurstan College took first innings honours over Nalanda College in their inter school under 19 cricket tournament match which concluded at Thurstan ground yesterday.
