All Island School Inventors' Competition:

Applications called for

The Sri Lanka Association for the Advancement of Science (SLAAS) in coooperation with the Ministry of Education annually organizes an "All Island School Inventors' Competition".

This year the competition will be held at the Faculty of Science premises of the University of Colombo from December 8-9 in concurrence with the 66th SLAAS Annual Sessions. Gold, Silver, Bronze medals and merit awards will be given to the best selected inventors separately under the four different categories of Grades 6-7, 8-9, 10-11 and 12-13.

Apart from those awards all participants will receive a certificate of participation. This event is organized under the patronage of the Sri Lanka Telecom. Application forms can be obtained from the SLAAS office by sending a stamped self-addressed envelope to Dr Chandana Jayaratne.
