Program to establish 600 School Science Societies

The Technology and Research Ministry has launched a special program to establish 600 School Science Societies parallel to National Science Day ceremony on November 12 to be held at the Sugathadasa Stadium.

Measures have been taken to upgrade and improve the 400 School Science Societies islandwide at present.

The aim of the Program is to create a Science and Technology environment within the schools to enable students to acquire knowledge on latest science researches,Innovations and developments in Information Technology.
