Pirates of the Keira bedroom

Pirates Of The Caribbean star Keira Knightley has been left 'violated' after burglars ransacked her 1.3 million pounds flat.

Raiders rifled through the Hollywood actress's rooms and made off with two laptops.

Detectives believe they may try to sell sensitive contents on the computers, which are worth around 2,000 pounds.

The burglars had walked in off the street after pushing open a faulty communal door at her block near Hyde Park, central London. They then forced an internal door leading to Keira's home, which she shares with her brother.

Two other properties in the block were targeted by the thieves in a similar way last week. Police believe the crooks could have spent an hour inside the fiercely-private star's flat.

Keira, 25, was away at the time and is now on holiday. Police were waiting for her to return to list exactly what is missing. A senior police source said, "Keira is mortified to think anyone has been rummaging around her personal stuff.

"She feels violated and doesn't know if she wants to return to the flat."

Police do not think Keira, who has been stalked in the past, was targeted because of her fame.
