SLIM delegates shine at Philippines Conference

Delegates from the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) did the country proud by making well acclaimed presentations at the recent National Marketing Conference of the Philippines.

The flagship event of the Philippine Marketing Association, it included prominent and leading speakers from the Asia Pacific region as well as elite marketeers from the Philippines.

Among the participants at the Conference were 700 marketeers from the Philippines, including some of the leading marketeers of the country. It was hailed as one of the most prominent events of the Philippines business calendar.

SLIM President Rohan Somawansa made a presentation on the Certified Professional Marketeer (CPM Asia) qualification, as a prequel to the launching of the CPM in Philippines.

Vice President (Education) SLIM, Tilan Wijeyesekera made strong presentation on Transformational Marketing at the conference.

SLIM is one of the most active members of the Asia Marketing Federation. The invitations extended to the SLIM President Rohan Somawansa and Vice President Tilan Wijeyesekera to make presentations at the National Marketing Conference of the Philippines have been seen as an endorsement of the recognition both SLIM and Sri Lankan marketeers get from the international organizations.
