Right arm fast bowler Malinda Vimukthi returned sensational figures of eight wickets for 23 as Nalanda College skittle out Maliyadeva College Kurunegala for a season lowest 47 runs in their first innings on the opening day of their inter-school under 19 cricket tournament match which commenced at Reid Avenue yesterday.

The Nalandians then consolidated their position and went on to compile 228 runs in reply while putting themselves in contention for an outright victory.
