Adyapana 2010 Exhibition in Kandy
Sri Lanka's most focused Higher Education and Career Exhibition -
Adyapana 2010 will be declared open by Mass Media and Information
Minister Keheliya Rambukwella on October 22 at Trinity College Hall,
Kandy.
This exhibition held, up to October 24 will be a show case for Sri
Lankan students to acquire proper knowledge and guidance on the
prospects for higher education at a time the country has witnessed
massive progress and expansion in establishing universities, states an
Information Department press release.
This entrance free Exhibition at Trinity College Kandy is open from
9.30 am to 6.30 pm.
The Kandy Adyapana exhibition is part of a series that endorse the
desire for holding partnership program with internationally renowned
universities to carry on with better opening for higher education in Sri
Lanka, while enabling Sri Lankan students to choose the right and
suitable destinations to pursue higher education.
Trinity College, Kandy OBA President Brig J.P.A. Jayawardena said
that this exhibition plays the role of a middleman helping young
students and parents to find their ideal institute of higher education.
Therefore, he said that Adyapana 2010 Exhibition in Kandy comes as a
real blessing to these students alleviating the stress and panic that
arises when making such life shaping decisions after A-L.
One of the main goals of this event is to create and accomplish in
depth awareness and knowledge in all aspects of higher education and its
organizations in a global village set up, which in turn will contribute
to keeping Sri Lanka abreast with the rapid progress of this vital
sector.
