National Law Conference

The National Law Conference 2010, the highlight of the Bar Association of Sri Lanka's annual program and annual conference and sessions will be held on October 23 and 24 at the Cinnamon Grand, Colombo.

This year the Conference takes an ever more active role in reviewing recent developments in the law and suggesting reform, as it adopts a process oriented approach to the event. Through this approach, even non-Lawyers can contribute to the conference by commenting and openly debating under each topic on the Law Conference website www.nationallawconference.com or on their Facebook Group (National Law Conference 2010). The objective is to trigger discussion between the legal community and stakeholders in society, so that the contentions raised and settled during the conference would be well thought of, and the outcome of the conference more productive.

Contributions from the general public will thus become a valuable input to the Conference Sessions.

All those interested in attending may download the registration form from www.nationallawconference.com or obtain the same from BASL Office in Hulfsdorp.

Participants are requested to handover the completed form and purchase their tickets from BASL (sold strictly on a first come first served basis). Any queries may be directed to [email protected] or 0112 447 134.
