Six-a-side tourney at Baddegama

The 'Arunalu' day and night six-a-side open invitation soft ball cricket tournament would be held at 'Kumme' grounds in Baddegama on October 22 and 23.

Attractive prices are on offer including Rs 50,000 for the winners and Rs 25,000 for the runners-up.

The sponsors have organized a cricket carnival to coincide with the occasion in which a number of national cricket players would take part.

They have also organized a free medical and eye camp in addition to a musical extravaganza and a cultural show. The organizers also hope to donate ten lap top computers to the Christ Church college in Baddegama on the occasion.
