Rugby sevens on October 24

The 10th Sabaragamuwa Rugby sevens will be staged at Kelany Valley Ground Talduwa on October 24 starting from 8.30 am.

There will be 12 teams competing for honours in the tournament organized by Sabragamuwa Rugby Football Union (SRFU) with the blessings of SLRFU under the instructions of SLRFU President Arjun Dharmadasa.

According to former Army rugby star/Secretary Sunil Ranasingha and Secretary SRFU KSP Karunaratne said that this year it will be more interesting to see that few National and Club A division rugby stars will lock horns.

Anuradha Dharmasena, Saliya Handapangoda, Suranga Arunashantha and Buddhika Thalagampola will be among them.

The referees from the Sri Lanka Rugby Referees Society SLRFU will handle the whistle.
