Lanka’s poverty level has been reduced to 15.2 percent, it says.
The rapid growth of Sri Lanka’s economy since the war, has given many

thriving economic progress in the country reaping the peace dividends.
Business is booming, the stock market is soaring, and tourism earnings
are on the rise, the report added.

million Samurdhi recipients in 2005. The number has declined to 1.5
million, he said.
