Karu Paranavitane appointed Consul-General

Karunaratne Paranavitane has been appointed as Sri Lankan Consul General in Toronto, Canada and received his appointment letter from External Affairs Minister Prof G L Peiris at the Ministry last Tuesday.

Paranavitane contested the last General Election as an SLFP organizer for Ratnapura District.

He is a graduate of the University of Colombo and has received his Master’s Degree on International Political Science from the University of Bradford, UK.
