Vidyartha held to a draw

Kegalu Vidyalaya held Vidyartha College, Kandy to a draw in their inter school cricket match concluded at Police Grounds, Kandy yesterday. Vidyartha College were get a virtually impossible task of scoring 168 runs for victory in 12 overs, they made a bold attempt under fading light and were 81 for 4 wickets in 12 overs. Niluksha Galapitiyage batted attractively to score 50 off 32 balls with 7 fours.

Earlier in the day Vidyartha College made 180 in reply to Kegalu Vidyalaya's total of 205. Niluksha Galapitiyage top scored with 64 with 12 fours off 86 balls.
