Southern Monsoon Rally Oct 16 and 17

A high official of the Southern Motor Sports Club told the "Daily News" that "The Southern Monsoon Rally 2010" organized by their Club and sponsored by Sri Lanka Insurance will be held on October 16 and 17 at the Unawatuna Stadium, Matara.

600km Rally is considered a National Motor Sports event and will be worked off day and night in three stages. The rally runs through major districts such as Galle, Matara, Hambantota, Ratnapura and Moneragala and it will be conducted on par with international TSD format where the time, speed and distances are controlled, he said.
